Abstract

In this paper we summarize our experience about medical e-learning in Turku, Finland. Technical infrastructure and support is important when the faculty organizes medical e-learning. E-learning and teaching needs new educational skills and attitudes and the problems are often more psychological than technical. We describe our experience how medical e-learning is advantageous in national and international post-graduate training . In creation of European level medical e-learning the possibilities of close collaboration between the universities and the professional societies should be recognized.
